The Chapel Hill Fire Fighters' Association tries to

help ANY firefighters & their immediate family members

feel a little more comfortable while hospitalized at UNC Hospitals.

When we are contacted, we will assign the family a point person. This person will talk with the family to assess their needs. What we provide will vary based on the situation, familial needs, our finances at the time, etc. In the past, we've sometimes been able to help with:

- phone calls & visits

- parking passes

- snacks, meals, or restaurant gift cards

- lodging or restaurant recommendations

- directions for navigating around Chapel Hill

Our own firefighter network is only so large & hospital staff can't notify us anymore. So, if you are or a firefighter family you know is at UNC Hospitals, please contact us with a name, phone number, & a brief explanation.
